硕士研究生导师,湖北省政府专项津贴专家,美国麻省大学访问学者。主要从事环境科学与工程、化学等方面的专业教学与科研、行政管理工作。巴塞尔公约亚太区域中心化学品和废物环境管理智库专家、湖北省科学技术厅科技专家库入库专家,国家一流专业(环境工程)建设点负责人、湖北省“十四五”优势特色学科群学科方向带头人、省级优秀教学团队负责人、省级精品课程《环境影响评价》主讲教师、省级教学团队主要成员、省级重点学科环境工程主要成员、湖北省高等学校优秀中青年科技创新团队核心成员。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、科技部国家重点研发计划项目等国家级、省市级科研项目80余项;授权发明专利29件;在国内外学术期刊(包括SCI一区国际Top刊物Environmental Science & Technology)上发表144篇论文,其中被国际权威数据库SCI、EI、ISTP收录54篇;参编著作7部。曾获湖北省教学成果三等奖1项、湖北省科技进步三等奖1项、湖北省自然科学优秀学术论文二等奖(1项)及三等奖(2项)、湖北省优秀博士学位论文奖1项、黄石市高校科技三等奖1项。
